An impressive fire broke out this Thursday night in a residential building in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano and several fire crews had to work on the spot to control the flames and rescue the people who had been trapped inside the building. The construction was totally evacuated and this morning it remained closed., by directive of the Aid Guard of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
According to what police sources reported to Infobaethe incident originated following 8:25 p.m. in an apartment complex located on the street Cuba to 2545between Monroe Avenue and Franklin D. Roosevelt, a very busy area of the City of Buenos Aires.
The firefighters who participated in the operation had to break down an armored door to gain access to the first floor of the building, where the fire would have originated for reasons that were still being investigated, and so They were able to save four victims who were affected by smoke, including a 65-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man.
The two ambulances that also arrived at the scene of the fire treated the victims and decided to transfer the lady to the Fernandez Hospitallocated at 3356 Cerviño Avenue, in the neighboring Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo, while the other person was treated with oxygen on the spot, but was not referred to any sanatorium.

A few minutes later the two fire trucks of the City Fire Department arrived with rescue teams that were divided into two groups: the first of them was dedicated to fighting the fire with the hoses, while the second was in charge of inspecting the plans upper floors of the eight-story building, since they were invaded by smoke.
The operation became complicated when the firefighters reached the first floor, because there they found an armored door that prevented them from passing. to a sector where there was a accumulatoran energy storage device, so they had to work for several hours to bring it down.
Once they were able to enter that area, they observed that the fire was spreading throughout the plant, without being able to specify measurements of the flames, which they tried to fight with the hoses. At the same time, the other crew of firefighters proceeded to rescue of another man who was asking for help in the quiet part of the building. A fourth victim was also removed from one of the apartments affected by the fire.
