The occupation army announces the arrest of “infiltrators” from Lebanon

The Israeli occupation army announced the arrest of two people on the border road between “Israel” and Lebanon, “infiltrating” from the Lebanese interior.

The Israeli army spokesman said, today, Friday, that “in the last hours, two suspects were arrested on the border road between Israel and Lebanon, near the towns of Shtoula and Shomra, who infiltrated from Lebanon.”

He added that “in the investigation that was conducted with them, it became clear that they were looking for work,” noting that “the details of the accident are under examination.”

He continued, “From the moment the reports were received regarding the first suspect, extensive combing work has been carried out in the area that continues until this hour.”

And the Hebrew (private) channel (12) had announced yesterday evening, Thursday, that “Israeli army forces arrested a Lebanese man across the border with Israel, near the Moshav Shtolah area in the north of the country,” as it put it.

The channel indicated that “the forces are conducting an immediate investigation with him.”

This is not the first incident of its kind in which Lebanese have been arrested for trying to infiltrate the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 across the border.

The Lebanese “Hezbollah” controls the south of Lebanon, adjacent to the border between occupied Palestine and Lebanon.

The Israeli forces withdrew from southern Lebanon in 2000, and then the United Nations placed what was known as the “Blue Line” on the border between them, to confirm this withdrawal, but this line did not strictly observe the official borders.
