10 million players in the garden of Grounded

Launched in July 2020 on Xbox One and PC, Grounded always welcoming more new players. The title of Obsidian Entertainment has indeed just passed the milestone of 10 million users while it is still in early access for the time being. A great success for an original experience, driven in particular by its availability in the Xbox Game Pass.

You keep reading it here and there, Grounded it’s a bit of an adaptation of Honey I shrunk the kids that we all dreamed of. A fun title to play, extremely pleasant and, above all, which continues to improve. The developers are indeed multiplying the updates and new features in this survival game which should be available later this year in its final version. And so it is with real merit that Grounded today celebrates the ten millionth player in its history.

However, the Obsidian Entertainment teams still have work to do. After the addition of different animals in recent months and new progression systems and stuff, it is now necessary to optimize Grounded. The work still knows a certain number of instabilities and some evolutions in the balancing would be welcome. Improvements that would undoubtedly allow the game to win over new players when it is released in version 1.0.

In parallel, Obsidian Entertainment is also working on several other projects. The Outer Worlds 2 went into production, just like Avowed. But other announcements might well take place this year since the studio hardly hides that it still has secret productions under the elbow!
