Al-Marsad newspaper: A few hours following its release on YouTube, the Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, is close to gaining one million viewers on his new song, “Bye Bye Secondary”.
However, “No. 1” was soon celebrated for its success until harsh criticism swept social networking sites.
The video clip for the song “Bye Bye High School”, written and composed and arranged by Islam Shendi, directed by Yasser Sami, in which Ramadan appeared as a high school student, preparing to study while his friend interrupted him to give him a cigarette containing cannabis, shocked the audience, because of the scenes it contained. Some considered it inappropriate.

The clip began with a cigarette of cannabis, following which the artist moved to another world and saw hallucinations around him, such as a girl wearing a pharaonic outfit and dancing, and his friends turned into completely other characters.
This sparked widespread controversy, prompting the director of the work to break his silence.
Controversy is the success of the artist’s work
Sami considered that raising controversy is the hallmark of the success of the artist’s work, Mohamed Ramadan.
He added in a media intervention that the controversy expresses the opinion of the public, including supporters and opponents.
He also saw that there was no problem in the clip and that it was suitable for all ages, explaining that the character presented by Muhammad Ramadan in the clip was being deceived, and then he saw strange things, and decided to quit, study and stay away from the corrupt group, and the clip scenes indicate that this work is rejected.
Yasser Sami also responded to some people’s astonishment at the appearance of his two daughters in the clip because it was not appropriate for their age, saying: “My daughters’ participation was in a very simple scene at school, and it happened during a visit to me, and all groups of society follow Muhammad Ramadan, whether adults or children.”
