Resignations are multiplying in the general secretariat of the Municipality. His reorganization and the management of his new boss are in question.
A wave of resignations hits the general secretariat of the City of Geneva. There «Geneva Tribune“has identified a dozen in recent months, including three in February alone, while this part of the senior administration has only a hundred employees. The reorganization of this department, which includes the legal department, the financial control department and the external relations department, initiated at the request of the Administrative Council and placed under the aegis of the new Secretary General, would be at the origin of these cascading disaffections.
The management style of the boss who arrived a year ago, Gionata Piero Buzzini, former general secretary of the Ticino Grand Council, is being questioned. The Geneva daily notes that in the small secretariat of the Administrative Council, placed directly under his control, none of the five employees in place when he arrived are still there: either they have returned their bags or they are on sick leave.
