Targeted by Marine Le Pen, Eric Zemmour raised his voice on Monday morning on France Inter. “We have to stop with this circus, Nazification is starting to do well, Nazify me… My family was born in Algeria, I am a Frenchman of the Jewish faith. I naively believed that the Nazis wanted to exterminate the Jews, what do the Nazis have to do with a Jew whose parents were born in Algeria? thundered the far-right French presidential candidate.
In an interview at «Figaro» last Thursday, her rival Marine Le Pen had criticized Eric Zemmour for attracting “a whole series of chapels”, “come and then left” from the former National Front: “There are traditionalist Catholics, pagans, and a few Nazis “, she said. The RN is particularly targeting the support shown to Zemmour by members of the Party of France, founded in 2009 by Carl Lang and former members of the National Front. On the right, the camp of Valérie Pécresse (LR) also criticizes the Reconquest candidate! connections with this party.

“They are not in my team. There are no Nazis in my team, that’s clear, that’s clear. Now, everyone can say that he supports me, you understand, it’s easy… We have to stop with this insult (…) that’s enough, ”said Eric Zemmour.
The former polemicist also returned to his recent remarks on the police “at the forefront of a fight of civilizations” and “games” for “all the scum”. “They are the objects of a struggle that goes beyond them which is effectively a war of civilizations. The war of civilizations is everywhere. In all countries where there is a strong Muslim community, there are clashes, on all continents, in India, Africa and Europe. This is what we live in France. There cannot be two civilizations on the same territory”, affirmed the ex-journalist.
