The Moroccan international of KAA Gent, Tarik Tissoudali, dedicated this Sunday a goal to little Rayan. In a game where the team faced Club Brugge KV, the Dutch-Moroccan player took off his jersey after scoring 0-2, to show a message of sympathy to the family of the child who died after being blocked in a well 32 meters deep since last Tuesday in Tamorot (province of Chefchaouen).
In an emotional voice in the post-match interview, Tissoudali said he had trouble sleeping on Saturday, after the news of Rayan’s death. He indicated that he wanted to score today to dedicate a goal to him.

Among the Moroccan internationals who played matches this weekend with a special thought for Rayan and his parents, Zakaria Aboukhlal also sported the name of Rayan inscribed under his jersey, during the match between PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar (1-2).

A CAN final under the sign of solidarity
The final of the African Cup of Nations (CAN), disputed this Sunday between Egypt and Senegal, was also marked by a tribute to Rayan. At the request of the Egyptian Football Federation to CAF, a minute of silence was observed at the opening of the match.
