The captain of the Egyptian Acting Professions Syndicate announced the death of the Egyptian actress, Ahlam Al-Gretali, at the age of 73.
The newspaper “Al-Masry Al-Youm” denied Zaki as saying that Al-Gretali’s death came following the deceased suffered a heart attack.
It is noteworthy that the artist Ahlam Al-Gretali had presented many television, radio and film works, including the series “Tales of Al-Madandash” and the series “Who Shot at Hind Allam” with Nadia Al-Jundi. Ahlam Al-Gretali participated in one of the episodes of the series “Lhazat Harega” and the series “Cinderella”, and was famous for dubbing animation, as well as participating in many other works.
And the last participation of the artist, Ahlam Al-Gretali, is the series “The Prince” by the star Mohamed Ramadan, Ahmed Zaher, the Lebanese Nour and Salwa Othman, directed by Mohamed Sami. Al-Gretali’s death comes on Sunday, to be the second loss of Arab art in one day, as the Egyptian artist Youssef Shaaban died on the same day at the age of 90, affected by the Corona virus.
According to the Egyptian newspaper, Youm7, the artist Youssef Shaaban died inside the Agouza Hospital in Cairo. Shaaban had contracted the Corona virus some time ago, and subsequently entered one of the engineers’ hospitals, and following his health deteriorated, he was transferred to the intensive care unit at the Agouza Hospital.
