CCTV news:The reporter learned from the China National Light Industry Federation yesterday (February 5th) that the economy of the youth industry has generally shown a recovery growth trend. The domestic market demand is strong, foreign exports have increased significantly, and investment confidence has steadily recovered.
In 2021, the entire young industry will achieve an operating income of 22.4 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.4%; and a profit of 1.4 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.4%. Among them, the profit of the battery manufacturing industry increased by 34.7%, and the profit growth rate of the bicycle, hardware, wine and beverage industries exceeded 20%.
The export of the whole industry of light industry exceeded 900 billion US dollars, an increase of 30%. The added value of light industry increased by 11.1% year-on-year, 1.5 percentage points higher than that of the national industry. Among the 92 kinds of light industrial products counted by the National Bureau of Statistics, 53 products have increased in output, with an increase of 57.6%.
Driven by factors such as the steady recovery of consumer goods production, the continuous release of domestic demand, and the recovery of prices, the profitability of the light industry continued to improve. The profit growth rate in December increased by 8.1% year-on-year, and the industry cost pressure was initially relieved.
