Do you have holiday vouchers left in a drawer? Do not panic. It is possible to exchange the tickets, valid until December 31, 2021, until March 31, 2022. To do this, you must submit an application on the website of the National Agency for Holiday Vouchers in the My services/Exchanges section. After creating an account, the beneficiary can enter their information, then send their expired coupons of 10 euros, 20 euros, 25 euros or 50 euros by La Poste.
The only condition for making an exchange is that the total face value of the checks is greater than 30 euros. The process is free if the paper vouchers are transformed into dematerialized “cheque-vacances connect” vouchers. For “classic” holiday vouchers, the costs will amount to 10 euros.
100,000 requests in 2021
While this exchange is possible every year, it has taken on particular importance in the past two years, marked by the Covid-19 crisis and travel departures subject to the vagaries of the epidemic. “In 2021, given the health crisis, we received 100,000 expired voucher exchange files, notes the National Agency for Holiday Checks. For comparison, 35,000 files were processed in 2020. Exchange files represent only 2% of the total. »
Distributed exclusively by the ANCV, the holiday voucher benefits 4.5 million employees, public officials, self-employed workers and business leaders, ie 11 million people including their family members. It is awarded by the social and economic committees of the companies or by the employers, according to variable subsidy methods, but always according to a social criterion: the employee whose remuneration is the lowest receives more. With the surpluses from the activity of holiday vouchers, the ANCV supports social actions: in 2020, it enabled the departure on holiday of 290,000 people in difficulty.
