The latter have learned new secrets regarding the 55-year-old icon and his famous family. Janet notably recounted her extraordinary childhood, punctuated by numerous parties organized at her home. David Bowie was present at one of them. He engaged in illegal activity and wanted to tempt Michael and Randy Jackson.
He offered us something to get high
“He was looking for a room to get away from everyone. Michael and I were in one of the other rooms away from the party. So David Bowie comes along, and he offered us some high, says Randy Jackson in the documentary. We looked at each other and said ‘No’. We didn’t know what it was, but we were like ‘No, thank you’.“
Randy Jackson did not specify the date of the said evening, his age and that of his brother Michael, nor the substance that David Bowie had in his possession. The singer died of liver cancer in 2016, at the age of 69.
