Public Health Report on coronavirus No. 687

The Ministry of Public Health reports that on Monday, January 31, 2022, five deaths were recorded due to COVID-19.

The deceased are: a 75-year-old man, from Pocito, who was hospitalized at the San Roque Hospital; a 67-year-old man from the Capital, admitted to the Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital; a 92-year-old man, from Pocito, admitted to the Dr. Federico Cantoni Hospital; a 56-year-old man from Jáchal, admitted to the Private Hospital; and an 89-year-old woman from Santa Lucía, admitted to the Private Hospital.

The Government of San Juan conveys its condolences to family, relatives and friends and accompanies them in this painful moment.

It is also announced that until 7:00 p.m. on the day of the date, the following official numbers of coronavirus cases were registered in San Juan.

  • Total confirmed: 138,843
  • Patients with infectious process: 16,939
  • Deceased people (cumulative): 1,266
  • Recovered: 120,638
  • Negative test: 1,212

110 patients are hospitalized in the COVID-19 areas of the Dr. Guillermo Rawson hospitals; Dr. Marcial Quiroga; Dr. Ventura Lloveras, from Sarmiento; Dr. César Aguilar, from Caucete; Dr. José Giordano, from Albardón; Dr. Federico Cantoni, from Pocito; CEMEC; Dr. Julieta Lanteri; San Roque Hospital, in Jáchal; Dr. Alejandro Albarracín Hospital, in Valle Fértil; Hospital of Barreal, of Calingasta; May 25 Hospital; Private hospital; Medical Institute; El Castaño Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; San Juan Sanatorium and CCI.

Of this total, 25 patients remain hospitalized in the Critical Area, 4 of whom receive mechanical respiratory assistance.

Among those hospitalized in the COVID-19 area, there is a pregnant woman and 8 pediatric patients confirmed with COVID-19.
