Game News Hellblade II: the Xbox exclusive immerses us in its cataclysmic atmosphere with a new visual
For many, the wait around the continuation of the adventures of Senua is interminable and the slightest element acts as a great relief, even if it is a slight compensation for the lack of communication around the title which prefers to reveal in droplets. Today, a new illustration makes us aware of the darkness of this sequel!
Between two shock announcements, the Ninja Theory studio likes to play with the impatience of the fans. For this, the teams publish, from time to time, some information that comes to support what we already know regarding the project. Before show off at E3, the game featured its climatic conditions but it is indeed during the Game Awards that the title blew it away, before disappearing once more to better return during a next major event.
Discreet for almost two months, the game is content with meager information so that it is sometimes necessary to scrutinize the slightest movement on the side of the Ninja Theory teams. Not so long ago, two images have been released to show us how much the studio teams have the sense of detail : a visual quality that is also found in the illustrations of the game.
Flood and chaos!
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is definitely one of Microsoft’s most anticipated exclusives and gamers are always eager to discover more. Sometimes, Ninja Theory hears their prayer and broadcasts, on its Twitter account, visuals allowing everyone to get a better idea of the dark and sticky atmosphere that will emerge from the title, and to appreciate the talent of Marco Teixeira who officiates as the main conceptual artist on this second part.
Some will be disappointed to find that this is only concept art, and not a snapshot taken directly from a game sequence. But this does not mean that the illustration does not present a certain interest since we discover there the potential decorations that Senua will have to cross during his journey.. Moreover, we find it today, overhanging what would seem to be a village or a coastal colony. At least, what’s left of it.
On closer inspection, if the sea seems rough and the waves as violent as they are omnipresent, the devastation caused on these lands was not caused by this element alone. Senua sees it for herself: this sinister atmosphere that reigns on these lands is, in part, the result of damage caused by fire, even by lava. if we pay attention to the red line that is drawn all along.
During its appearance at the Game Awards, the game proved to us that it would plunge us into the heart of a world on the verge of chaos and this illustration only confirms it even more. Finally, the madness does not only gnaw at the characters of the franchise but well the whole world in which it evolves! For now, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 does not have a definite release date but it is expected on Xbox Series X|S and PC !
