Or those who meet all the specified conditions under the “Easy Entry to Hong Kong” scheme can be exempted from compulsory quarantine when entering Hong Kong from the Zhuhai Port via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge according to the relevant scheme. The online reservation systems of the above two schemes have also resumed accepting applications for reservations entering Hong Kong from the Zhuhai Port via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge from 0:00 today.
Government officials reminded that those who successfully entered Hong Kong through the “Easy Return to Hong Kong” and “Easy Arrival” programs must still undergo mandatory nucleic acid testing on a specified date as required by the plan following arriving in Hong Kong, and pay attention to their personal health status following entry.
As of 5:00 p.m. yesterday, the list of risk areas for which the “Return to Hong Kong / Easy to Hong Kong” plan is temporarily not applicable includes a total of 18 locations in 9 provinces and cities, covering Henan Province, Tianjin, Shanghai, Beijing, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Yunnan Province, Hebei Province, Heilongjiang Province and Zhejiang Province.
“Return to Hong Kong” has a daily quota of 2,000 entering Hong Kong through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port; and 3,000 entering Hong Kong through the Shenzhen Bay Port every day. As for the “Easy Entry to Hong Kong” scheme, the Shenzhen Bay Port or the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port will each have a daily quota of 1,000 entering Hong Kong. Those who successfully make an appointment must enter Hong Kong on the specified date and port of appointment.
In addition, the Macau government announced yesterday that in response to the current epidemic in Hong Kong, from 1:00 a.m. on Thursday (February 3), all people entering Macau from Hong Kong must hold a certificate of infection-free testing within 24 hours that meets local requirements.
