Dorce Gamalama reacted to Gus Miftah’s statement that his will to be buried as a woman violated religious law.
In the video reels On her Instagram, Dorce said that all the management of his body should only be carried out by his family.
“To the kiai and ustaz who explained my death, who bathed me, buried me, let my family take care of me. Want the shroud seven layers, eight layers, I leave it to those who take care, please family I’ll take care of it,” said Dorce.
“If it’s a man, it can be a woman, anyone can be a well-known kiai, don’t you? give bad comments, you should give advice and advice to anyone because I am a human being who has a responsibility,” he continued.
Gus Miftah | previously discussed Dorce Gamalama’s will that he wanted a female burial.
According to him, Dorce’s wish violated religious law because of his transgender status, so he had to be buried according to his original nature.

It also explains the different ways of taking care of the corpse of a man and women start from wearing the shroud, the ritual of prayer and funeral prayer.
