Cyberpunk 2077: the PS5 version appeared on the PSN with a new cover | Xbox One

CD Projekt is still working on the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and news shouldn’t take too long as we approach the end of Q1, when the big update is due out. Today, a new cover of the PS5 version of the game has just been found.

A new cover for Cyberpunk 2077 on next-gen

The source of the image is the PlayStation Game Size account, used to tracking everything that happens on the PlayStation store, in particular the size of games. In all likelihood, this is indeed the cover of the game in its PS5 version, and therefore also in its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S version.

Last October, the developers announced the postponement of this version of the game, indicating that they needed a little more time to polish the final details. The version of Cyberpunk 2077 optimized for the latest consoles remains planned by March and some players are waiting for it to be rolled out to launch the game for the very first time.

With the release of this image on the PSN, we can legitimately think that things are moving seriously on the side of CD Projekt, and that an announcement might be made soon.

Last year, the developers expressed confidence in the future of the game, and claimed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be considered a very good game in the long run. As for an Xbox Game Pass release, it’s way too early, specified the president of the studio, Adam Kiciński, in December.
