Navegantes starter Yohander Méndez shone for 5.0 scoreless innings, in which he only allowed one hit, gave away two walks and struck out five rivals.
Venezuela made a run in the fifth act and another one in the sixth, thanks to a home run by Pablo Sandoval, to give the game definitive numbers.
Charros, now with a record of 0-2, will seek their first victory of the tournament on Sunday, when they face Colombia first thing in the morning, while Magallanes will seek to continue the good moment by facing Puerto Rico later.
