Game news Elden Ring: more than twenty minutes of gameplay to sharpen your nerves before the release
The arrival of Elden Ring is fast approaching. For many, the wait is unbearable and the game should cause a lot of ink to flow: here are three gameplay videos, released by one of our English-speaking colleagues.
First steps in the ring
In a few weeks, FromSoftware will finally offer its next title, furiously awaited by millions of players who are eager to do battle with its world as fascinating as it is intimidating, written in collaboration with the creator of Game of Thrones. Excitement and impatience are felt everywhere and then promise an imposing month of February, between the said game of the Japanese studio on the one hand… and a some big PlayStation exclusive the other.
As much to say thatElden Ring should make people talk regarding him and elsewhere, he is already making headlines with great blows of masterful trailers and other intriguing statements. Bandai Namco recently gave a nice boost to our colleagues at Game Informer, who were able to get their hands on the game in preview with the possibility of broadcasting three new gameplay videos.
Castle, lakes and big monsters
A total of no less than twenty minutes of commented play can be found below: the first two videos take us to the heart of “Mourne Castle”, a gigantic grayish medieval castle with unforgiving corners (we expected no less, to be honest). A focus is notably made on a boss at the end of the sequence, an enemy who reminds us that, yes, the Japanese from FromSoftware know how to do it in this area.
The third extract lingers on a brand new area, called in English “Liurnia of the Lakes“. A region bordering meadows and lakes that might have been idyllic if only it were not haunted by aggressive trolls with disproportionate clubs and an unpleasant climate.
If we had to end with a handful of precise information, it would obviously be on the date and the supports of this future software desired by a large community: Elden Ring will be available on February 25, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One. Ready to do it once more, three years later
