The Norman rapper Orelsan has hidden five golden tickets in several copies of his new CD. The quest for the last two is not without consequences, especially for record stores.

For the release of his album “Civilization”, on November 19, 2021, rapper Orelsan hid five golden tickets in several copies of his disc. So far, only three have been found. The latter two sow discord among raging fans and force record stores to take action.

“Please don’t open me up”

Some young people had fun opening the discs in the hope of finding the precious sesame allowing them to access all the concerts of their idol, free and unlimited.

Faced with this treasure hunt, sellers are forced to adapt to these abusive behaviors. Some record stores have therefore stuck stickers on Orelsan’s albums, with the mention “Thank you for not opening me”. According to information from Konbini, others have employed a more drastic method to limit the damage: put the performer’s CDs under seal.

Orelsan recently added a date to his tour, February 22, 2022, in Caen. Tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes.
