Xbox: soon an army of developers for Microsoft, here are the figures

Game news Xbox: soon an army of developers for Microsoft, here are the figures

Microsoft has an appetite, hard to deny. Between the growth of its workforce already present and the takeovers that have taken place or will soon take place, the number of developers within the Xbox fold is now impressive…

15,000 developers at Xbox

Microsoft news has been the talk of the town for the past few years and for good reason: the manufacturer is working hard to build an overwhelming future in the world of video games. Xbox can thus rely on the fabulous portfolio of its parent company to truly realize its gluttonous ambitions, for example by acquiring tenth art giants like Activison-Blizzard for nearly $70 billion. Enough to pass the 7.5 billion of the acquisition of Bethesda for pocket money.

Inevitably, some try to take a step back from the situation. The Twitter account Unregulated Mathematics thus shared an edifying graph, representing the number of developers working for Xbox in 2023 (year from which Activision-Blizzard will be officially acquired by Microsoft). This would represent approximately 15,000 people (between 14,000 and 15,000, depending on Goggles), the majority of which comes precisely from the firm of Bobby Kotick.

Activision-Blizzad, a monster soon to be swallowed

A striking image that allows us to better consider the size of the ranks of Activision-Blizzard. Blizzard alone would include, for example, regarding 5,000 employees; King, one of the kings of the mobile industry, regarding 2000 head. Here is a list of the squad (always shared by Krobrille), which is enough to raise some eyebrows. It is recalled that these data should be effective in 2023.
