The competent judicial authorities in Giza renewed the detention of a young man for 15 days pending investigations, accusing him of taking exams instead of Mostafa Mohamed, the Egyptian football player, at one of the educational institutes in Abu Nomros.
The prosecution heard the statements of the accused young man, who said that he tried to enter the exam instead of his friend, the national team player, to help him for fear of failing, given that he was on a national mission with the Egyptian team participating in the African Nations Championship, and explained that he is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts.
The accused admitted that he had participated in 3 previous exams instead of Mustafa Mohamed, before the incident was discovered, in the fourth exam.
The detectives of the Giza Security Directorate continue to conduct investigations into the incident of arresting a young man, accusing him of taking exams instead of Mustafa Mohamed, the Egyptian football player, at one of the educational institutes in Abu Nomros. He caught him, that he performed the exam instead of the player in 3 study subjects.
The investigation authorities also listened to the statements of the discoverer of the impersonation incident at the institute, in addition to the statements of a number of the institute’s employees, to reveal how the accused entered to take the exam instead of the player, and the fact that he took the exam in previous study subjects this year.
The Abu Nomros Police Station received a report from the officials of the Abu Nomros Institute, in which they reported that a young man had been arrested for accusing him of taking the exam in the second division, instead of a famous football player.
