They just got engaged, now Luca Hänni (27) and Christina Luft (31) have bad news for their fans. “Unfortunately we both tested positive for Covid”, write in an Instagram story to three crying emojis. The Swiss singer also explains in a video: “We’re signing off. Unfortunately, it caught us.” His fiancee adds that they suspected the infection and did a PCR test, which was positive.
The couple had stayed at home for days as a precaution “and now, of course, in quarantine in accordance with all precautionary measures,” the “Let’s Dance” stars continue to say. You know, we’re fine, we’ll get along,” says Luft at the end of the video, which shows the two under one blanket.
A week ago they announced their engagement
Hänni and Luft only announced their engagement on Instagram on January 16. They simply wrote “yes” and shared a red heart emoji to a photo in which they can be seen with their heads together and each one hand on their partner’s face. To do this, they used the hashtags “#engaged #engaged #ja #yes”.
Luca Hänni, “DSDS” winner from 2012, and the dancer Christina Luft met and fell in love in the spring of 2020 on the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance”. Together they danced for third place and each other’s hearts. At the end of December, the couple announced that they had bought a house together in Switzerland.
