Dresden – He was the man of the day Game once morest Hannover 96. The reward was the clean record at 0-0 and the nomination in the “Eleven of the Day” in the kicker. But: Did SGD keeper Kevin Broll (26) survive the game unscathed? Some fans want to have seen the goalkeeper with his arm in a cast at the university clinic on Monday.

Did he break his hand? At least that was hotly debated on Facebook and Twitter. But it doesn’t seem to be that bad.
According to TAG24 information, I am dealing with a hand injury, but nothing is broken. Dynamo Dresden I want to wait for tests and then announce the diagnosis. It is not yet clear whether or how long the keeper will be out.
Everything happened in the 21st minute: Broll defused a shot from Linton Maina (22) and threw himself on the ball. Heinz Mörschel (24) and 96-kicker Sebastian Kerk (27) went with him to the ball. After that, Broll held his right hand and was treated.
Just eight minutes later, Dynamo’s goalkeeper was also the winner once morest Maximilian Beier (19), who ran towards him alone. Then the hand was grabbed once more.

Substitute keeper Anton Mitryushkin (25) then warmed up. But following the break, the SGD number 1 returned and continued to hold up brilliantly.
Eleven minutes before the end he risked life and limb once morest Hendrik Weydandt (26) just before the goal line. The outstanding performance of the 26-year-old goalkeeper secured Dynamo the counter – and that with a damaged hand!
“Kevin held very well, was present, was good. That was important,” coach Alexander Schmidt (53) also praised his keeper.
Of course he hopes that he won’t have to do without him in the coming weeks. That would be a great loss!
