An unmanned SpaceX Dragon capsule blasted off on its way back to Earth on Sunday.

Pictures of the American space agency “NASA” showed Dragon as it left the International Space Station, carrying two tons of scientific equipment and blood samples provided by the space crew.

The crew, consisting of US astronauts Kayla Barron and Thomas Marshburne and German astronaut Matthias Maurer, sent blood tests for use in medical tests on the effects of long spaceflight on humans’ visual vision.

The Dragon capsule was originally scheduled to leave for Earth last Friday, but NASA postponed the maneuver due to bad weather in Florida.

Dragon is now scheduled to leave Earth’s orbit on Monday and land off the coast of Florida with the help of parachutes.
