Russia exceeds 60 thousand daily cases of covid-19, in third consecutive record
Being the most mourning country in Europe due to the pandemic covid-19, Russia Registration 63 thousand 205 new cases on this day, following 57 thousand 212 on saturday and 49 thousand 513 on Friday, according to data provided by the government.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had warned last week that his country had just two weeks to prepare before being knocked out by the new variant of covid, and urged increased testing and vaccination.
The capital Moscow, which is the epicenter of the pandemic in this country, also registered a new record, in its case, for the fourth consecutive day, with 17,528 new infections.
These have been increasing in recent days, suggesting a particularly virulent new wave.
