Bentley announced the launch of a plug-in hybrid version of its Flying Spur icon in the market during the second quarter of this year.

The British company explained that the new car appears with a length of 5.32 m, and relies on the cranks of a V6 gasoline engine with another electric in the transmission system, which derives its energy from a battery capacity of 18 kilowatt-hours, which brings the car to a walking range of 40 km, and a maximum speed of 140 km / s.

The 2.9-liter V6 petrol engine produces 306 kW/416 hp. The combined efforts of the two engines bring the system power to 400 kW / 544 hp, with a maximum torque of 750 Nm.

The company stated that the plug-in version of its Flying Spur icon will start at 210,987 euros.

Thanks to this enormous power, the car accelerates to a weight of 2.5 tons of stability to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 285 km / h.

It is expected that the average fuel consumption of the car will be reduced to 12.7 liters / 100 km.

And last December, Bentley announced its readiness to launch a new model, which will be the most expensive in its history, through its Mulliner division.

This new model will be Bentley’s second luxury model in a very limited number of copies, in cooperation with the Mulliner division, following the Bacalar model, of which the brand launched only 12 copies.
