Bob Saget, American actor known for playing “Danny Tanner” on the family series “Full House” (”three times three”), died at the age of 65 and his former co-stars met in Los Angeles in what was his last tribute. “We would like to be overwhelmed by the privilege of being able to do what we are good at. Bob felt young, energetic, grateful, appreciated. The applause and laughter didn’t have time to die down before Bob did. He never ran out of cake or anything else. He died shining and fierce,” he added.
In his emotional message, John Stamos He said he wished Bob knew how much the world loved him when he was here. “I spent many nights trying to convince him how loved he really was (or maybe it was the other way around: him trying to convince me how loved he was). But it was just Bob’s bragging”.
“There is no way that Bob might calculate that his death would have this kind of impact. This is the kind of coverage that proves to you that someone really connected with people, and not just for a moment, but for generations,” said Stamos, who highlighted what his friend meant to many people, including migrant children.
“He talked regarding how he struck a chord with many immigrant children and how they learned to speak English with him. I’ll be honest, I love Bob Saget but… really? It’s like hearing a bunch of kids running around saying, ‘I love my mom, and you can too if you pay me $12,'” he said.
For Stamos, Bob put everything on the table for his friends and family, leaving nothing behind. “When I heard the news of his death, I broke down. I was devastated and felt useless to help anyone else. I’ve spent days refusing to let go. But now I’m starting to realize that I don’t have to. I don’t have to say goodbye because he will never leave my heart. And I will continue to talk to him every day and let him know what he means to me.”
“Bob, I will never ever have another friend like you. You will always be my best friend. Now you are my new guardian angel, a guardian angel with a tremendous dirty mouth, but a very big and benevolent heart. I love you baby”, he concluded.
