A total of 25 provinces in ten autonomous communities will be on a yellow notice this Sunday due to temperatures minimum up to -8ºC, as forecast by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Specifically, night temperatures they will be very low and will range between -4 and -7ºC in Huesca, Teruel, Zaragoza, Mallorca, Ávila, Burgos, León, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Soria, Valladolid, Zamora, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Lugo, Ourense, Navarra , Guipúzcoa, Vizcaya, La Rioja and Valencia.
In addition, in Cádiz, the coastal phenomena will put the province on a yellow warning due to winds from the east or southeast with force 7 in the Strait, mainly at west of Tarifa and south of Trafalgar.
The AEMET prediction for this Sunday indicates that there will be cloudy intervals with some weak and scattered precipitation around the Strait and, with low probability, on the coast of the Valencian Community and Murcia.
On the other hand, in the peninsular southwestern third there will be medium and high cloudy intervals that will increase as the day progresses, while in the rest of the peninsular southeastern quadrant there will be some cloudy intervals of low type during the first half of the day.
In the rest of the Peninsula there will be little cloudy or clear skies and in the Canary Islands, cloudy skies in the western islands, without ruling out precipitation, and intervals of clouds in the eastern ones. Nor are morning fogs ruled out in the south of Castilla la Mancha and inland Galicia and some haze in the southwest of the peninsula.
As for the maximum temperatures, they will increase in the north of the North plateau, the Cantabrian mountain range, the upper Ebro, the Basque Country, Navarra and the Pyrenees, while in the rest of the Peninsula there will be few changes, also in the minimum.
Of course, the frosts remain in much of the interior north, center and east of the Peninsula a little more intense in the Pyrenees, valleys of the North plateau and surroundings of the south of the Iberian system, and weaker and more dispersed in the interior of the southeast quadrant.
Finally, a strong Levante wind will blow in the Strait and with strong intervals in Alborán and an easterly wind in the north of Galicia and a northeasterly wind on the southeast coast. Light and variable winds they will occur in this in the rest of the peninsular southern half and in the rest of the country.
