For more than two decades, the series Hajj Metwally and I Won’t Live in My Father’s Djellaba has maintained the lead in dramas and is considered the most important and most successful drama over the years.
Many of today’s stars have built their stardom because of their appearance in these two works, but the writer and scriptwriter Mustafa Muharram is the hidden hero of the two series, according to the public, as he wrote them.
Muharram died a few months ago, following a struggle with illness, and the news of his death at that time caused a major shock in the artistic community and among the public.
Among the most famous dramas presented by scriptwriter Mustafa Muharram: “I will not live in my father’s gown” by the late artist Nour El-Sharif, Abla Kamel, Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, Muhammad Riyad and Yasser Jalal, and “The Family of Hajj Metwally”, co-starring Nour El-Sharif, Magda Zaki and Ghada Abdel Al-Raziq, Somaya Al-Khashab, Mona, Nourhan, Mustafa Shaaban and Rania Youssef, in addition to presenting the series “Al-Batiniyah”, the first starring Ghada Abdel Razek with Salah Al-Saadani, Lucy and Ahmed Flux.
