The Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, lowered, for the second time in a matter of days, the price of a bundle of white bread with an increase in its weight, coinciding with the decline of the dollar and despite the increase in diesel prices by 35 dollars per ton.
The price of a bundle of white bread weighed in its three sizes, as follows: 360 grams at 5,000 pounds, 835 grams at 8000 pounds, and 1,245 grams (the family bundle) at 11,000 pounds.
To this end, Salam issued two decisions today: the first is to determine the weight and price of white Lebanese bread, and the second relates to setting the selling price of bran and wheat flour of class 85, zero, extra, super extra and all other categories.
