The state authorities of Chihuahua alerted the population to take extreme care, before the imminent entry of the third winter storm of this season.
State Civil Protection announced that as of Wednesday night and throughout Thursday, “it will cause low temperatures, rains and strong winds in much of the state territory.”
Given this, the State Civil Protection Coordination (CEPC) issued an alert to the population in the face of low temperatures, in addition to the increase in the probability of rain, strong wind with gusts of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour; in the rest of the municipalities of the mountain region (high areas) rains, snow and sleet are expected.
The CEPC highlighted that the thermal sensation in some regions of Chihuahua it will be from -5°C to -8°C for the western zone; -3°C to 0°C in the eastern zone; from 0°C to 4°C in the center-south zone and from 1°C to 4°C in the north zone.
