Queiroz calls on the players to salute the fans after qualifying for the round of 16 African Nations

Carlos Queiroz, coach of the Egyptian national team, called on the players to go to the stands in order to greet the fans who were keen to crawl towards Cameroon to support the Pharaohs during the confrontation with Sudan.

Egypt qualified for the round of 16 of the African Nations Championship currently being held in Cameroon, following beating Sudan with a clean goal scored by Mohamed Abdel Moneim in the match that brought them together this evening, to raise the national team’s score to 6 points.

The Egyptian team started the match with a formation that includes Mohamed El-Shennawy in goalkeeping, Omar Kamal, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Ahmed Hegazy and Ayman Ashraf in defense, Mohamed Elneny, Amr Al-Sulayya and Abdullah El-Saeed in the middle, and Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush and Mustafa Mohamed in the attack.
