Dubai: All drone-related activities have been suspended in Dubai. The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has said the drone will not be used in Dubai until further notice.
All those who have previously received permission to use the drone will be notified by the DCA. Notice has been given. New applications for drone use will not be considered for the time being. The reason has not been clarified by the authorities.
Meanwhile, the Dubai Police is cracking down on illegal drone use. The police stood at the background of the flowering of drones in some areas. Drone licensing, registration and training are strict in Dubai. Violations carry a fine of up to one lakh dirhams without imprisonment.
