And he continued: “I kept searching in the valley, and from all its sides, in the presence of the strong torrent, and I faced great difficulty until I saw the father’s jeep’s vehicle among the torrential waters in the darkness of the night, and I recognized it from the red lights of the brakes, and the torrential water was submerging it, and at that time I informed the Civil Defense, who He came to the site following the arrival of a number of relatives whom I had sought help.”
Citizen intervention to save his family
And he added: “I watched my younger sister move her hand while crying, and I also heard her voice, and then I might no longer wait; So I used some ropes, and I risked my life for them, and I entered into the force of the torrent that almost swept me away, and I fell several times, but by the will of God – Glory be to Him – I managed to reach them, and I attached the wire iron to the jeep, and then it was pulled for a short distance, and my father, my mother and my two sisters were taken out. And he moved them until they were handed over to the Red Crescent following I confirmed that my mother and younger sister were alive, and my father and older sister drowned.”
He added, “After they were admitted to the Qurei Hospital there, the doctors told us that my father was alive, and in fact he remained for regarding an hour in the recovery room, but he later drowned with his daughter.”
