Polish star Robert Lewandowski, player of Bayern Munich, won the award for the best player in the world for the year 2021, at the “The Best” International Football Association Awards.
Lewandowski surpassed the Argentine star Lionel Messi, the French player of Paris Saint-Germain, and the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool player.
Lewandowski also won the award in 2020 by beating Messi and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Lewandowski starred in 2021, scoring 69 goals and winning the German League title with his team.
It is reported that Messi won the “Golden Ball” award for the best player in the world in 2021 from the newspaper “France Football”.
German Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea’s coach, was named the best coach over Spanish Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, and Italian Roberto Mancini, coach of the Italy national team.
Tuchel led Chelsea to the Champions League and European Super Cup titles.
Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, goalkeeper of Senegal and Chelsea, won the award for the best goalkeeper.
Mendy beat Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma, goalkeeper of Italy and Paris Saint-Germain, and Manuel Neuer, goalkeeper of Germany and Bayern Munich.
And “FIFA” awarded Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, following he became in 2021 the historical top scorer for national teams.

Barcelona star Alexa Botías won the award for the best player in the world following winning the “Golden Ball” award from the newspaper “France Football”.
Chelsea coach Emma Hayes won the Women’s Coach of the Year award, while Argentine Christiani Endler won the award for best goalkeeper.
Argentine Erik Lamela, a former Tottenham player and currently Sevilla, won the Puskas Award for the best goal in the world in 2021.
Lamela scored his goal in the match of his former team Tottenham once morest Arsenal in the English Premier League.
Denmark and Finland fans won the Best Fan Award for their behavior following Denmark’s Christian Eriksen suffered a heart attack at Euro 2020.
The Danish national team and its medical and technical team also won the Fair Play Award for their behavior in the Eriksen crisis.
