There is no voice in the Saudi sports community currently, except for the crisis of the great international star, Muhammad Kanoo, between the Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr clubs.
Al-Hilal announced the renewal of the contract of Kno, aged 27, until June 30, 2025, a few days following entering the free period.
For his part, the Al-Nasr club board of directors, headed by Musali Al Muammar, responded by revealing that Kno had signed contracts to move to Al-Alame Castle, before renewing with Al-Hilal.
And between Al Hilal’s statement and the surprise of victory, the two clubs escalated the case to the competent legal authorities, amid news of the international player being suspended, for a period of 4 to 6 months.

Herve Renard intervenes in the Knoe crisis
In this context, “24 Sports” channel revealed that the French coach, Herve Renard, coach of the Saudi national football team, intervened in the Kno case.
The satellite channel indicated that Renard wants to quickly end the Keno case, between Al Hilal and Al Nasr, because of his desire to rely on the player, during the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, in late January.
The Saudi Green leads the second group of qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, with 16 points, 4 points ahead of “runner-up” Japan.
And if a decision is issued to suspend the player, the French coach will start looking at possible alternatives, so that the Saudi national team’s career is not affected, during the coming period.
