The China intends to deepen his research in the exploration of the moon. Indeed, Chinese scientists are developing an artificial moon designed by the Chinese National Space Administration. The latter, which measures 60 centimeters in diameter, will be subject to low gravity and will allow scientists to experiment with the behavior of their equipment in an environment similar to that of the moon.
It was inspired by the research of the Russian physicist
The device in question makes use of a vacuum chamber as well as a strong magnetic field, in order to set up a low gravity. In addition, scientists have placed giant magnets underneath that make the device levitate unlimitedly. Note that the latter was inspired by the research of the Russian physicist, Andre Geim. In these works, he had succeeded in making a frog levitate with a magnet. Note that the creation of this device is a first in the world. Indeed, great efforts are necessary for the reproduction of an environment with low gravity or without gravity. In addition, several similar works had been done for the planet Mars.
As a reminder, the China wanted to create, in 2018, a giant moon to save energy. This one, which had to reflect the sunlight during the night, would ensure the lighting of the city of Chengdu, southwest of the China.
