Ava Phillippe is pansexual. Reese Witherspoon’s daughter came out via Instagram and sees herself as part of the queer community.
The daughter of Reese Witherspoon (45) and Ryan Phillippe (47), Ava Phillippe (22), has come out as pansexual. In a question and answer session on Instagram she spoke openly regarding her sexuality and revealed that she sees herself as part of the queer community. When asked whether she was attracted to men or women, she replied, “I am attracted to people.”
It doesn’t matter to her whether the passport says “man” or “woman”, she is always interested in the person and not in the gender. She just doesn’t care, Phillippe continues. In the summer of 2021, the relationship with her fellow student Owen Mahoney became known. According to US media, the two have been a couple since 2019.
What does pansexual mean?
As Phillippe himself explains well, pansexuality is a sexual orientation that does not make any pre-selection according to gender or gender identity. The Greek prefix pan means as much as total, all, encompassing. To differentiate: Bisexual people only desire men and women, but not transgender, non-binary or intersex people.
