Sky will once more broadcast numerous games in the NHL in the coming days. Particularly interesting for German NHL fans: Moritz Seider and the Detroit Red Wings will be broadcast live and exclusively on Thursday night. At the weekend, the Washington Capitals are the main focus. Alexander Ovechkin’s team can be seen twice on Sky at the best time in Europe.

The Washington Capitals can be seen twice this coming weekend. Sky commentator Christoph Stadtler welcomes viewers on Saturday from 8 p.m. on Sky Sport 2 at particularly attractive airtime, when the residents of the capital will be guest at the New York Islanders.
The next day there will be a duel with the Vancouver Canucks, which Olivier Zwartyes will be commenting live and also on Sky Sport 2 from 8 p.m. on Sunday.
On Monday at 7 p.m. the game between the Buffalo Sabers and the Philadelphia Flyers will follow on Sky Sport 1.
In total, Sky will broadcast 20 NHL games live over the next 14 days. Due to the corona, however, there may be short-term changes to the NHL schedule.
Up to and including 2024/25, Sky will broadcast around 300 games live per season. With this, Sky will offer its customers more NHL encounters than ever before shown on German television.
Even fans who missed the live broadcasts or who want to watch more NHL ice hockey in addition to single games in full length will have the opportunity to do so on Sky in the future. After each night of live broadcast, Sky usually shows the best game from the night in full length at the fixed broadcast time at 7:00 a.m.
