Baby shark, the world’s first 10 billion views… “Writing a new history on YouTube”

The video of “Baby Shark” produced by a Korean company surpassed 10 billion views on YouTube for the first time in the world.

This is the first record in YouTube history.

Following the success of Korean movies and dramas, BTS, and even 〈Baby Shark〉, it shows the power of Korean culture.

“Baby Shark Trulu~”

This video, first released in 2016, has reached 10 billion YouTube views in 6 years.

This is a number that the world’s population of 7.8 billion must see at least once to achieve, which is a new record set by .

It has 2.3 billion more views than the video of singer Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’, which ranked second in the number of views.

The performance of 〈Baby Shark〉 is not limited to the number of views.

It entered the US Billboard and UK official single charts for the first time in a nursery rhyme, and won two ‘Toy of the Year’ awards, the toy industry’s Oscars.

In addition, it is used as a logo song for major league cheering songs in the United States and overseas broadcasting stations, and in 2020, it was resounding at the site of the protests in Lebanon and the site of overcoming the corona virus, surpassing the limit of children’s characters.
