President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said: “If people say “no” in the elections, I will leave them and walk.”
President Sisi added, during a meeting with journalists on the sidelines of the World Youth Forum: “The will of the people in Egypt is the criterion. If the people in Egypt do not want us to walk along, and someone else comes, this is the final word other than that, it remains an attempt to offend and distort the shape of the state.”
The World Youth Forum is an annual global event held in Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the forum was launched in three editions in the past years 2017, 2018, and 2019.
The forum aims to bring together the world’s youth in order to promote dialogue and discuss development issues, and to send a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the world. The United Nations Commission for Social Development has adopted the three previous editions of the World Youth Forum in Egypt as an international platform for discussing youth issues.
