The new year might not begin in a worse way for fans of the saga. The delay of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl has been confirmed.
Being scheduled for April 28, today we come to announce the bad news of the retraso de STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. What is one of the most anticipated Xbox exclusives, albeit temporarily, has seen its premiere postponed almost eight months from its initial date. This takes us until the end of 2022. The wait is going to be very long. Luckily we have left Elden Ring.
The title developed by GSC Game World seems to be cursed. Not in vain and in case anyone does not know, almost ten years ago it was in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, a second part of this post apocalyptic franchise. On that occasion, things did not come to fruition and the project ended up being canceled when there was not much left to be finished. So now that the game has just announced that it won’t arrive until December 8, I can’t help but fear the worst.
According to a small note that the study has published, these more than seven additional months of development are necessary to fulfill the vision they have for STALKER 2. In addition, they emphasize that it is the largest project in the history of GSC, so it requires more testing and further polishing. The only good thing for rescuing something is that they have promised to show us all the possible news to make the wait more bearable.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl It will be released on PC and Xbox Series X / S, these platforms where it will be temporarily exclusive. PlayStation 5 users will have to wait.
Let’s go!
