Annan and the Netherlands Federation had different views on how to improve team cooperation and culture.

Annan herself said in the KNHB statement that “there is no difference of opinion on what can be improved, but on how to tackle it”, that is to say, that her vision to solve the problem does not coincide with that of the federation.
