Kim Kardashian sues over cryptocurrency promotion

Several American celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, are facing charges of investors who claim to have been deceived in connection with investments in a cryptocurrency. Kim Kardashian was paid to extol EthereumMax, prompting investors to take an interest in this cryptocurrency, which ultimately lost much of its value, according to a lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles court. Kim Kardashian alone has 250 million Instagram followers.

Other celebrities, such as boxer Floyd Mayweather, are named in the complaint.

According to the complainants, EthereumMax has proven to be highly speculative and unrelated to Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world behind Bitcoin.
