Pakistan Cricket Board prepares for four-nation T20 series between India and Pakistan Along with India and Pakistan, England and Australia will also play in the series. PCB chairman Rameez Raja shared the idea on his Twitter handle.
‘The plan for the four-nation T20 Super Series comprising India, Pakistan, Australia and England will be submitted to the ICC. The series will be played every year. The four countries will hold the series in rotation. Dividends will be shared among all ICC members, ”said Rameez Raja.
India and Pakistan currently play only in ICC events and the Asia Cup. The last time the two countries played a bilateral series was in 2013.
India and Pakistan last played in the 2020 T20 World Cup. Pakistan had beaten India by 10 wickets in the match. Pakistan won the toss and elected to field. Pakistan surpassed India’s target of 152 for victory without losing a single wicket. Pakistan captain Babur Assam and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan eased Pakistan to victory. Both scored half-centuries and remained unbeaten. Captain Virat Kohli (57) led India to a respectable score. Shaheen Afridi shocked India by knocking out Rohit (0), Rahul (3) and Kohli.
