The Argentine Naval Prefecture and Bonarense Police personnel found this Tuesday the lifeless body of Valentín Demaria (48), the kitesurfer who had disappeared since last Sunday in Hudson.

The body was found in Ensenada, 3 km from where it was last seen, and according to the agents who participated in its search, “it did not present traumatic injuries.” After the autopsy, his body will be handed over to the family.

The Prefecture began the search for Demaria last Sunday, following she left to navigate the Río de la Plata, and disappeared minutes later, in the presence of a strong wave.

De María was a businessman from Escobar, father of a teenage daughter and had more than 20 years of kitesurfing. He was the owner of an industrial thread factory and a lover of sailing, which is why he was used to diving or embarking offshore.
