Orlando renews Jeff Weltman and John Hammond until 2026

The Orlando Magic has bet on the stability of its office by extending the contracts of Jeff Weltman and John Hammond, president and general manager of the team respectively, until the academic year 2025-26; Adrian Wojnarowski reports from ESPN.

On the negotiation for the renewal of both, it would have been the CEO of the Florida organization,Alex Martins, who would have started conversations with both at the end of last year. The terms of the new deals have been finalized in recent weeks.

In the absence of the official announcement by the franchise, it seems to be pleased with the work done from the offices. In recent years, young prospects such as Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony and Wendell Carter Jr. have joined the roster, while accumulating up to six first-round picks for the next four years.

They also liked the hiring of Jamahl Mosley. So far the new head coach It has left a pleasant impression on the organization and they see it as a success in order to continue growing in the next campaigns; all this while waiting for the full recovery of two other boys such as Markelle Fultz and Jonathan Isaac. Orlando believes he is on the right track and does not want to deviate in the least.
