This is the expression that is currently on everyone’s lips: to obtain a health pass, the best solution is to justify a complete vaccination schedule. What does this mean exactly?
Asked by our colleagues from Sunday Newspaper (JDD) this Sunday, January 2, 2022, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran explains that a complete vaccination schedule “corresponds until January 15 to 2 doses, except for those over 65, who since December 15 must have been reminded at most 7 months following their second dose. This same 7 month rule for the third dose will apply from January 15 to all people over 18 years old.“
In short: if you are under 65 and have received 2 injections of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine, you currently have a complete vaccination schedule. On the other hand, from January 15, 2022, you will be considered to have a complete vaccination schedule only if you have received your booster dose (the famous third dose, therefore) at most 7 months following your last injection.
A 3rd dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccine within 7 months (then within 4 months)
An example : if you received your second dose of Pfizer / BioNtech in July 2021, you currently have a full vaccination schedule. On the other hand, you must make an appointment before February 2022 (7 months following your second dose, therefore) to get your booster dose and thus keep your complete vaccination schedule (…)
