“The journey takes 20 days” .. Camel owner “Rasha Al-Qurashi” gets back on the back of her camel after losing the bet in the hunts

Al-Marsad newspaper: The camel owner Rasha Al-Qurashi revealed that she will return on the back of a she-camel from the land of Najd to the Hijaz, following losing it in the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival.

She said, according to “Al-Watan”, “I made a promise to myself that if I did not win the competitions of the sixth edition of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, I would return from Najd to Hijaz on the back of my camel, despite the hardship of the road. I was very confident of winning first place, because of the beauty of my camel.”
She explained the reason for her loss, saying: “When I came to register in the fifth inning race, and completed the procedures, I was surprised that my name did not exist because one of the conditions of the race was that the camels not participate in another race.” She added, “I decided to rent another camel, and I participated in the race, but I did not win.”

20 day trip
She indicated that she is waiting for the necessary permission to start traveling, pointing out that the trip takes approximately 20 days.
She thanked several parties that took the initiative to support them, as dedicated cars (caravans) were provided, along with escorts and escorts.
It is worth noting that the return of camel owner Rashaal Al-Qurashi on the back of a she-camel is an experience that will be recorded for the first time for a Saudi woman in the history of the Kingdom.
