Bruno Marchand goes there with a cry from the heart to the unvaccinated in Quebec

The level of hospitalizations has reached a record in the Capitale-Nationale region in the last few hours and the mayor of Quebec is appealing to people who are not vaccinated.

“You have to get vaccinated. Those who have not had their two doses, go there as quickly as possible, Bruno Marchand told TVA Nouvelles in Quebec on Monday evening. Those who are waiting and planning to take their third vaccine, it’s the same thing. “

According to Mayor Marchand, who understands the generalized “fed up”, an unprotected person is at risk and might infect several other people: “It has been said and it has been said many times”, recalls- he does.

“We don’t live in a community where we can make fun of each other and where our own actions don’t matter.”

Marchand, who has put measures in place to encourage local traders, is also in favor of tighter restrictions on unvaccinated people.

“Yes. It is necessary, yes, to get them to be vaccinated, but also to avoid contagion and the spread of the disease. ”

Currently, 174 people occupy hospital beds in the Capitale-Nationale and the mayor is asking the population to get vaccinated to also avoid the load shedding.

“We must ensure that we can treat people who are sick, who are awaiting treatment for cancer or a major disease, and who cannot because we are in the process of offloading, account given the overload in our hospitals.

“I think you have to have this collective consciousness.”
